Event Report
We had great sunny weather and a good turnout for what was a first truly open invitation in Blount County for anyone to bring their EV and anyone to show up to learn about them! The new Food City in Alcoa was a gracious host and we had plenty of space with easy access to both local and higher‐speed roads. Many volunteers helped make this a success, and that almost always starts and ends in our region with the Knoxville EV Association volunteers, but several East TN Clean Fuels Coalition staff helped as well. Interestingly, the average age of the attendees was probably over 60 years old! Many test drives were provided, and we met several new EV lovers that live in the area that are now becoming part of KEVA and DET. Last but not least, our Cadillac of Knoxville rep (the our only full-size EV dealership that brought EVs) said he has two very solid leads on sales of Lyriqs!!
Food City was our event host, and we want to thank Cadillac of Knoxville, the Harvey Broome Group of the Sierra Club, and Pedego Electric Bikes of Knoxville for their attendance and passion for EVs! Certainly last but not least, thank you Drive Electric TN and Knoxville EV Association for showing in force!! (and note there are several other good photos in the Flickr link)

Event Description
This event will be an opportunity for anyone in the Blount County, TN area (or beyond) to come see some EVs, ask questions of their owners, and ride in or drive an EV, and ask broader questions about where charging is or is coming, cost savings, batteries, getting repairs, etc. ... and just how fun EVs are to own and drive.
