Event Report
I'd love to send glowing reviews about our event, but we dealt with a significant challenge. The EVs were placed in an area on the south end of Springs Preserve, in an open lot surrounded by chain link fence. We were included in this area with a half dozen food trucks for the event.Unfortunately, the Butterfly Habitat was the last feature of the part before encountering our area. The exhibit never ceased to have at least 200 people in line the entire day, and therefore, people found it difficult to locate our area. Total attendance for the event was well over 2000 people, but our area saw somewhere in the area of 150 people.
We will be working with the management of Springs Preserve to look at better options for us and the food trucks for our next events.
Event Description
In cooperation with All-In Clark County, the Nevada Electric Vehicle Association will be hosting a Drive Electric Earth Day event on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Springs Preserve in Las Vegas.
Join the community and bring the whole family for fun and educational explorations - check out the All-In Clark County and NVEVA booth, view the electric vehicle showcase, and find out how you can play a role in ensuring a sustainable future! We’ll be showing about the latest in EV technology, models and talking to EV drivers!
Your general admission ticket also includes entrance to all of the Springs Preserve's indoor museums and galleries, including the Nevada State Museum and seasonal Butterfly Habitat, and access to the outdoor natural areas, Botanical Garden and trails.
