Event Report
The Franklin High School organized Green Fair as part of their Sustainable Jersey for Schools efforts. This was the first time so they had no prior experience. They asked NJEVA to coordinate EV show as part of the Green Fair.We have had 10 EVs prepared for the show, including Polestar dealership that even offered ride & drives.
Unfortunately, we were forced to cancel the EV show component due to the rain, while all other activities were moved into the school lobby. We have set up a table indoors and provided information to attendees, including our popular spinning wheel that has various puzzling questions related to EVs.
Somerset County Commissioner Paul M. Drake stopped by our table and we had a productive discussion on how can NJEVA help the county promote EVs through their Transportation Management Agency - RideWise. We do have long standing collaboration with RideWise.

UPDATE 4/28/2023: Due to the rain, we shall have a table inside of the Franklin High School Lobby, along with all other exhibitors. The Green Fair as such is not cancelled as it is mostly indoors. Please feel free to stop by.
Original event description:
This event is hosted by Franklin High School Environmental Club and organized by NJ Electric Vehicle Association. There is plenty of space for 20+ EVs. Wide variety of brands is welcome. Old EVs are welcome as well to demonstrate the longevity of the technology. All attendees will receive window sticker and pin with the logo of Electric Vehicle Association. It should be easy and short event. It is preferred to come on time and stay for the duration of the event but we understand if you have to come late. Access will be available. As this is an event in High School, if you have activity for kids of this age please contact us to coordinate together. Should be fun.
Franklin Environmental Commission will be represent as well.
