Event Report

This event was held in conjunction with 350 Eugene's Town Hall on various other climate topics. Emerald Valley EVA set up in the parking lot where 350 Town Hall attendees had to walk through. Many stopped to talk to EV owners, inspect and sit in their cars. It was a beautiful sunny day after a couple of weeks of spring rain. Owners also had chances to talk to each other, learn about other EVs and just get acquainted or reacquainted with each other. I was amazed at how many different occupations, and stations in life were represented. Many owners were not the "rich folk" of the EV driver stereotype.

There was one converted BMW with its owner showing how he did it. A number of e-bikes were also there to demonstrate the convenience and usability bikes even for older adults.
