Event ReportIn addition to DEED, this event and future revuporegon.org similar EV101 events are regularly publicized by local consumer owned electric utilities, municipal utilities and cities. Our next similar events are in early May and early June.
To View recent videos of rEV UP! events go to eveva.org and check out our events page or use our name, Emerald Valley Electric Vehicle Association at youtube.com.
DEED, as usual, helped us to reach beyond out sponsor’s advertising area to people in states other than Oregon. While a small portion of our presentation is Oregon specific, most would apply anywhere. I urge readers of this comment to check out our videos and register for the free zoom events on our web page, eveva.org, which we put on most months. The most valuable part of connecting to the live zoom event is that you can ask your specific and burning questions about electric vehicles and take one of the most important actions to reduce your carbon footprint AND make driving fun again.
Come, learn about electric vehicles, how much fun they are and how easy it is to use, fuel, and maintain them. Get your questions and concerns answered by experienced drivers. We are sponsored by all the local utilities, three cities, and the University of Oregon Sustainability Office. We are all volunteers. We do not promote any particular EV models but may help you pick out the model that will work best for you. Topics include driving, maintaining, fueling, charging, and available incentives including tax credits and rebates.
