An electric vehicle can be the gateway to a more sustainable lifestyle. Many have found that installing solar panels is the next step.
This Earth Day, the Blue Ridge Electric Vehicle Club celebrates the tremendous synergy between electric transportation and energy from the sun. This online event will address "What does it mean to run an EV on Solar Electricity?"
What is the difference between energy and power? How much energy does a solar panel produce? How much do I need? What does it cost? This talk will take a look at the basics. There will be ample time for questions and answers from attendees (submitted with chat feature).
Presenting will be Dave Erb, retired automotive engineer, EV enthusiast and owner, EV drag racer, and Mechatronics lecturer from UNC-Asheville.
Driving with sunshine is a feeling of freedom. You can have this too!
