Event Report
This was our smallest rEVUP event ever. Having done over 20 of them on line since March 2020, we have educated around 500 people directly with a 35 minute presentation followed by lively Q&A.This event was so small that we scraped the presentation and went directly to conversation with attendees. We provided answers to questions like how to choose which EV and how to manage off road and difficult remote charging.
We are reassessing the utility of this kind of presentation now that the lock down is over and as more information is available to the public. We now think that display and ride and drive will be more likely to attract potential EV users.
It might also be that after a very cold spring with lots of rain, we had the luck of running an on-line program on a warm and beautiful evening.
Event Description
rEVUP! Is my favorite EV 101 short presentation. In about 30 minutes you will learn how to choose an EV, Why you should, how to fuel it, dispelling myths that big oil wants you to believe. After all that, we allow an hour to answer your questions. The only dumb question is the one that you don’t ask. Please join us. Even if you are far away from Oregon, you will still learn a lot including how to find out more about EVs in your area.
