Event ReportWe were invited to be an official part of the Dogwood Arts Festival that is widely advertised all over the region. We setup our exhibit near the amphitheater that had performances going on all day Saturday and a craft fair on Sunday. We were able to have 3 vehicles there on Saturday, Ford Lightning, Kia EV6, and Nissan Ariya, and on Sunday we had the Lightning and Ariya. We learned there are a lot of Nissan fans that only buy Nissan so Ariya has a great market and a lot of people enjoyed seeing both vehicles. The festival got 11,000 attendees on the Saturday and 5,000 on the Sunday. But we also so a lot of interest from the artist and employees of the fair grounds. We were able to borrow the Nissan Ariya from our local Twin City Nissan so we want to give them credit for helping us out. The Ford Lightning was provided by Drive Electric Tennessee and their Rural Reimagine Project. That project aims to loan an EV to people for a week to see how they can use an EV. They got 23 signups for their program. We would also like to think all our EV volunteers from KEVA that helped make this event possible. We hope to do the event again next year.

We were invited to be an official part of the expanded Dogwood Arts Festival this year, but we will only have room for two vehicles. We will be displaying Drive Electric Tennessee's new F-150 Lightning and a KEVA members Kia EV6 on Saturday. The Lightning will be back on Sunday to join a new Nissan Ariya. Come see these new EVs! Come check out or display of information about all the EVs on the market, which EVs can get the new tax credit, and the various home charging options available. If you have signed up to exhibit at this event, please check for email communication from us. We need EV owners to volunteer to talk to the public and answer questions about owning an EV. This event gets 10,000+ people a day so we can reach a lot of the public.
