Kingman’s FREE to attend Drive Electric Earth Day event will feature the most diverse range of electric vehicles on display at any of the 200 Drive Electric Earth Day events being planned nation-wide. In addition to meeting and talking with real-world drivers who advocate adopting EV technology, attendees will be given FREE admission to the Route 66 EV Museum.

The Museum’s EV display of about 25 EVs represents only a quarter of the Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation’s (HEVF) world’s largest collection of historically significant EVs. In addition to the EVs listed below under Expected Display Vehicles, attendees will be able to view up close and personal these EVs in HEVF's collection:

  • 1930 Detroit Electric,
  • rare 2002 Toyota RAV4 EV,
  • 2008 Tesla Roadster (# 480)
  • a record setting EV racer,
  • Willie Nelson’s Rolls style golf cart
  • and more.

Additional information will be posted on this page as it becomes available in early April regarding the Historic EV Foundation's plans for creating its immersive, hands-on Electric Vehicle Experience (EVE) educational attraction in Kingman. EVE's goal is to provide its visitors with the information they need to determine for themselves, "why electrified transportation is just better!"

Sign-up below:

  • as a participant to display your electric vehicle,
  • as a volunteer to help with event logistics or
  • as an attendee who is interested in learning more about from drivers who will be sharing their first-hand, uncensored knowledge about their EV experiences.

The Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation, the Route 66 Electric Vehicle Association Chapter and the City of Kingman Office of Tourism have partnered to organize this opportunity for electric vehicle consumers and potential EV buyers from Kingman, Phoenix, Tucson, Los Vegas and all areas of Arizona to celebrate the benefits of electrified transportation at the Route 66 EV Museum.
