Very cold day -- but we did have interest among Earth Day participants willing to brave the weather.Event Description
The NE Sierra Club Transportation Committee and the Eastern NE Electric Vehicle Association will jointly coordinate the EV activities at Earth Day Omaha 2023. EV owners will display their EVs and chat with participants. EV volunteers will host an information booth, conduct surveys, and distribute sponsor materials.
Because of the large crowd and park layout, there is no "Ride and Drive" component. But EV owners will have easy access to the display area. They should have many visitors seeking detailed information on their EV and driving experiences. EV drivers and other volunteers are not expected to stay for the long day (11am - 6pm)'s activities but will be offered, early, midday and late shifts.
