Event Report

We had a joint event with a EV meet up at the Cajun Field charging station which is powered by our solar farm down the road and then we took everyone for a tour of the Solar Farm. We got a comprehensive look at what clean energy means and got excited about what's to come in terms of clean power and electric vehicles. Terrence L. Chambers,  Director of the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Energy (EESE) at UL Lafayette gave us information on the EV chargers and the 5-6 more that are coming soon to UL Lafayette's campus. Dr. Chambers also gave us a hard hat tour of UL Lafayette's 1.1 megawatt Solar Farm and the new Solar Lab that is currently under construction.
