Event Report
NCCETC partnered with Advanced Energy to promote and staff the event. Local Tesla and Volvo dealerships provided vehicles (4 in total) for the ride & drive. We had 14 owner vehicles on display. There were EV related discussions with approximately 100 people with an approximately an additional 150 passing through. 25-30 rides/drives were given, mostly drives. The weather was excellent. The crowd was a little smaller than usual in that it was the last day of classes.Event Description
Join us to celebrate Earth Day with an Electric Vehicle Driver Meet-Up and Ride & Drive at Venture Plaza on NC Sate University's Centennial Campus. Venture Plaza is the open area near the Venture Buildings on Main Campus Drive. Share your experience, show off your vehicle, learn about electric vehicles and have some fun. The event hours are 11am - 2pm. There will be food trucks.
