Event Report
In contrast with the general Summit Park Earth Day celebration the week before, this event in Northside was an EV meet-up as well as our biggest-ever ride & drive. We had over 25 EVs total and gave over 60 rides or test drives. The stars of the show were two Rivian R1T electric pickup trucks. One of them gave over 20 rides!
We had 15 different EV models, a Zero motorcycle and a couple of e-bikes. Thanks to Kings Volkswagen for providing an ID.4 and EVenture Rentals for bringing their Tesla Model X. Other EVs showcased include Ford Mustang Mach-E, Tesla Model S, 3, Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Audi etron, Hyundai Kona EV, Kia Niro EV and Soul EV, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt and BMW X5 PHEV. In our post-drive survey, 96% of riders said they were "likely" or "very likely" to buy an EV in the future.

Drive
Electric Cincinnati invites you to an
electric vehicle showcase and ride & drive at 4030 Hamilton Avenue,
adjacent to the Northside Transit Center.
EV
Owners – bring your EV to join our EV Showcase! Share
your EV experience and compare notes with other EV owners. If you
are willing to give EV rides in your personal EV, please note that in the
comments when you register via the "Participate" button.
Interesting in learning more about driving electric? Not yet an Electric Vehicle (EV) owner? This event is for you! Check out the wide range of EVs available, including Tesla Model Y, Mustang Mach-E, VW ID.4, Chevy Bolt and more. Chat with EV owners—the best source of information about what it is like to own and drive an electric car. Learn about options for public charging and charging at home. Join our interactive chalk mural family activity: turn a parking space into a work of art!
At the
event, sign up to ride in an EV or take one out for a test
drive. Experience smooth, quiet EV acceleration and see for yourself
what people are talking about!
Parking:
Parking in the event’s lot is free until 2pm. (Event teardown is 1pm; you are welcome to have
lunch in a local restaurant after the event.)
Come by the tents after you arrive.

EV drivers: enter the lot
from Blue Rock St and take one of the spaces reserved for the EV showcase.

Drivers of non-EVs: enter from Hamilton Ave. If that
part of the lot is full, we will guide you to nearby parking. (The lot does not have an entrance
off Crosby St, despite what Google Maps thinks.)
EV charging: The adjacent Northside Transit Center has 2 Flo-network chargers; on the other side Blue Rock Street from the event, Gantry Apartments has 4 (shown on map below). In addition, the lot at Lingo & Hamilton has 6 chargers.
