Event Report
Event Discussions/Reflections – about 100+ people stopped by
the event; expectations set for this to be an annual event. Positive vibe from
everyone, however possibly inviting other town committees and the rec program
to join in the next year. Many questions
(solar array, evacuated heat tubes, etc.) on the tours and they were very well
attended.

Event Description
The Durham Energy Committee is sponsoring Earth Day activities centered on our down town Pettee Brook Parking lot. 
Main events include:
- EV showcase -- residents provide their EVs for inspection, and discuss EV experiences. Ride-along tours, and test drives are optional for residents.
- EV Dealers -- local car dealers with EVs will participate and offer EVs for display and test drives.
- Solar Tour -- tour of local homes with various types of PV arrays, solar hot water, and presentation by a solar installer will depart from the lot at 2:00 PM, transportation to be provided.
We plan to have display tables and posters around the area with comparison information on all EVs on the market, and other activities such as Community Power that are sponsored by the Durham Energy Committee. In addition we will host information displays from the UNH Electric Vehicle Organization and the Energy Club.
