Event Report
The Juneau Earth Day EV Road Rally was an awesome success where the Road Rally was led with Juneau's first electric bus carrying many local and State elected officials. A record high sunny day in Juneau provided a great backdrop to show the community some of Juneau's growing electric vehicle fleet. Roughly 1 in every 40 vehicles registered in Juneau, Alaska is electric driven fueled by 100% renewable hydropower.There was much local social media, radio and print media buzz on the event.

Event Description
Juneau Earth Day EV Road Rally. EV Fun and Covid Free. Juneau is a leading EV adoption community. Come join in our Earth Day EV Road Rally and never leave your vehicle. We will also be having an E-appearance of Juneau's latest EV bus from our Capital Transit Bus system.
Juneau EV owners and enthusiasts will be celebrating Juneau Earth Day activities with a Juneau Earth Day EV Road Rally on Saturday, April 17th 1:30 PM (line up begins at 1PM at Juneau District Heating Lot at 300 Egan Drive).
This will be Covid Free event where participants can remain in their vehicles throughout the event. Juneau's brand new Capital Transit Electric Bus will be participating in the event. Sign up and join the fun. Route map will be provided at the event.
Rally will promptly depart at 1:30PM so vehicles are asked to come and line up at 1:00PM. Route map will be provided but the Rally will travel from Downtown Juneau to Nugget Mall area, reconsolidate and then travel to Savikko Park (Sandy Beach) in Douglas and then return and end the EV Rally at the Whale Park in Downtown Juneau. Come show your EV support and celebrate Earth Day. Locally sponsored by the Juneau Electric Vehicle Association and co-sponsored by Renewable Juneau, Juneau Hydropower, Mendenhall Auto, IBEW 1547, FishBone Motors, JEDC,, CBJ Capital Transit, Juneau Commission on Sustainability, 350Juneau, and Juneau District Heating.
