Event Report
Drive Electric Earth Day Regina was a success. This was the first event that the Saskatchewan Electric Vehicle Association has hosted as an official group. We had several Regina City Councillors as well as officials from SaskPower who drove a company EV to the event. This event had significant interest from the general public with a lot of foot traffic and passers-by. We did over a hundred test rides! This was made possible with a group of dedicated local EV owners giving test rides and some enthusiastic dealer salespeople representing the latest EV offerings.
The Saskatchewan Science Centre hosted our event and it was the perfect venue. They had Earth Day related programming running throughout the day with a park for children, large parking lot and dinner facilities on site.
We plan on making this an annual event and will be back for next spring with a bigger and better event!

Event Description
The Saskatchewan Electric Vehicle Association will be teaming up with the Saskatchewan Science Centre to host the first annual Drive Electric Earth Day in Regina.
At this event we will have several different electric vehicles on display with their owners to discuss their experiences and the benefits of electric vehicles. We will also be offering EV test rides throughout the afternoon. The Science Centre will be hosting a "build a green car" seminar and other earth day related programming.
