Event Report

Winchester hosted 13 Electric Vehicle Ambassadors and 4 dealer test drive vehicles.
23+ test drives in dealership vehicles and numerous rides in ambassadors took place.
Though the weather was chilly, everyone had a really great time. The conversation went on well past our 3:00 closing time.
Our over 30 volunteers graciously hosted a constant stream of visitors.
We are grateful to the police department for blocking off the Laraway Road area and patrolling during our event. Thanks also to Green Energy Consumer Alliance for sending two volunteers to help us sign in our test drives.
It is worth noting that the conversation about EVs was enthusiastic and animated. Brian and his Tesla 3 had a great display in the front trunk showing a sample battery, explaining the batteries and gave out fact sheets. Connall was a real attention grabber with his Tesla X opening it's high drama doors from time to time. We had 5 Bolts with their owners waxing lyrical about their vehicles. Woody demonstrated the new EV charging station when he plugged in his Bolt.
Conversation went beyond EVs to solar PV, off shore wind and community choice aggregated electricity as we all discussed how to minimize our carbon footprints.
VICTORY!
