Event Report

Gateway Technical College in Kenosha had its second annual Celebrate Earth Day: "A Community Celebration of Our Planet" event with more than 50 exhibitors. Our Drive Electric Earth Month event, hosted by Drive $mart Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Electric Vehicle Associationwas the largest Earth Day celebration in Southeast Wisconsin this year. We provided valuable information to an enthusiastic crowd of curiosity-seekers who wanted to learn everything they could from Electric Vehicle owners who displayed their favorite machines. As a bonus, Arch Electric offered discount cards for at-home EV charging stations and wiring for homes with Plugins and Battery Electric vehicles. Arch Solar also offered a free site assessment for those interested in adding rooftop solar to homes or businesses.
The weather was not perfect since our canopy was losing ground to the high winds and it was a little chilly for late April, but overall, spectators and Electric Vehicle owners had a great time.

Event Description

Here is your chance to participate in a Drive Electric Earth Month event, hosted by Drive $mart Wisconsin and Wisconsin Electric Vehicle Association on Saturday, April 20, 2024, for Gateway Technical College-Kenosha's Celebrate Earth Day event, which should be the largest Earth Day celebration in SE Wisconsin this year.

Drive $mart Wisconsin(D$W) will be tabling inside the Madrigrano Center, along with 50 or more exhibitors, just off the parking area where all types of Electrified Vehicles will be on display.

Drive $mart Wisconsin and Wisconsin Electric Vehicle Association will also be tabling outdoors, where we will provide valuable information to an enthusiastic crowd of curiosity-seekers who want to learn everything they can from Electrified Vehicle owners who are displaying their favorite machines. This Electrified Vehicle display will be the highlight of the event. There may be an opportunity to have car rides too.

As a bonus, Arch Electric will offer discount cards for at-home EV charging stations and wiring for your home or business. Arch Solar will also offer a free site assessment if you are interested in adding rooftop solar to your home or business.

For this great Celebrate Earth Day event, we encourage any Electrified Vehicle owner to join us for a half-day (10:00 am-1:00 pm) of education and camaraderie as we display and talk about our rides.
